Meet Your Pharmacist!
Francesco graduated from pharmacy school over 20 years ago and began practicing in Canada in 2008. He chose a career in pharmacy to fulfill his passion for helping others. Francesco's decision to open Medica Pharmacy came from a desire to give back to the community and leave a lasting legacy in patient care. Outside of the pharmacy, Francesco enjoys playing golf and chess.
Jeremy began his career in pharmacy just a year before helping open up Medica in 2019. For Jeremy, having been part of the team from the very beginning, he views working at Medica as being part of a family.
Amar is a dedicated pharmacist here at Medica Pharmacy. He has been working in pharmacy since 2016 and joined Medica in 2019, not long after it first opened.
Brandon has been a pharmacist since 2011, and with more than a decade of experience, he became part of the Medica team in 2025. Outside the pharmacy, he enjoys all things music and spending quality time with family.
The Bocce Court
You may have noticed the bocce courts next to the pharmacy. Bocce is a traditional italian game that’s also enjoyed by many other cultures, known as boules in France and similar to lawn bowling in England. It’s a game of skill, strategy, and fun.
These courts were built by the owner of Medica Pharmacy, Francesco Vella, as a way to improve the east end of Erie Street and create a space that brings people together from all over. Whether you're joining in on a game or just stopping by for ice cream from across the street, you're always welcome to hang out at the courts and enjoy the atmosphere.
